"pseudo - durch und durch" is an art and research project by gido dietrich and m. vaenci stirnemann. the work is divided into cycles. in 1996/97 the 4th cycle will deal with "singularity and resonance. the research of "pseudo - durch und durch" has unfolded the importance of the fields as a form of presence. through the experience that time is not the same to all creatures, the "stream of time" of past-presence-future has become fragmented. further interpretations relative to the world have to be added. the aim is not a different outlook or viewpoint of the world, but different dimensions of time and space for perception, existance and identity.
"singularity and resonance" - any element of the world is subject and object: subject of oneself, object to the others. as subject it is singular, perceiving the world from it`s own viewpoint. the to-ings and fro-ings of expressions (energies) can become apoint of discussion as well as an escalation of the singular perception and the inherent stream of energy to a resonance, as a floating state, disregarding the dimensions of time and space.
cluster images - second werkleitz biennial.- in our work we are starting from the local situation. dealing with the respective space and the collecting of (sometimes hunting for) material is as much a part of the work as the performance. in the local lab situation and in field trials we intend to work on the issue through talks, discussions, collecting of evidence and installation of material. at the end of the lab a public event is going to take place.
"pseudo - durch und durch" ist ein kunst- und forschungsprojekt von gido dietrich und
m. vaenci stirnemann. die arbeit ist in zyklen gegliedert. im 4. zyklus 1996/97 werden wir zu "singularitaet und resonanz" arbeiten. die forschungen von "pseudo durch und durch" haben die bedeutung der felder als eine form von gegenwart offengelegt. der "strom der zeit" mit vergangenheit-gegenwart-zukunft hat brueche erhalten, durch die erfahrung, dass die zeit nicht fuer alle lebewesen die gleiche ist. er ist zu relativieren und zu ergaenzen um andere interpretationen von welt. dabei geht es nicht um eine andere weltsicht oder eine andere weltanschauung, sondern um wahrnehmung, existenz, identitaet in anderen dimensionen als raum und zeit.
"singularitaet und resonanz"
jedes element der welt ist subjekt und objekt: von sich aus subjekt, von den anderen objekt. als subjekt ist es singulaer, indem es die welt auf eine art wahrnimmt, die nur geaeussert werden kann. das hin und her von Aeusserungen (energien) kann diskurs sein, es kann aber auch die singulaere wahrnehmung und den dazugehoerenden energiefluss aufschaukeln zu einer resonanz als ein schwebender zustand, in dem die dimensionen raum und zeit nicht mehr prioritaer sind.

in unseren arbeiten gehen wir stark von der oertlich vorgefundenen situation aus. der umgang mit dem jeweiligen raum sowie das sammeln von (und manchmal jagen nach) material sind ebenso teil der arbeit wie die performance. wir beabsichtigen, in einer laborsituation und in feldversuchen vor ort durch gespraeche, diskussionen, sammeln von evidenzien, installieren von materialien zum thema zu arbeiten. am ende des labors findet ein oeffentlicher event statt.
